NAVY-AA and SSR
Indian Navy invites online application for Artificer Aprientice and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) twice in a year. For both posts common notification is issued, a single form is submitted and a common exam is conducted. The notifications come in the month of June and December. The exam for the June notification was held in August month and the December notification was held in March month.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Date of Birth:
Artificer Apprentice: A candidate must not below 16.5 and must not be above 20 Years.
Senior Secondary Recruit: A candidate must not below 16.5 and must not be above 21 Years.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The selection criteria are divided into the following stages:
Computer-based Examination
Qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and
Medical Examination

The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 level.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
The PFT will be of qualifying nature but it is mandatory for selection.
